At IDA, we are committed to selecting only the most exceptional judges for our team. Before being invited onto our roster, all judges undergo a detailed pre-screening process, where we evaluate their experience as a dance educator, dance professional and dance adjudicator. We review submitted critiques in three different dance styles, ensuring that they provide informative, constructive, and detailed feedback, using appropriate terminology and understand how to cater critiques to dancers of all ages and levels. This process helps us determine which judges have what it takes to live up to the high standard we have set at Impact Dance Adjudicators. Our roster of IDA Judges continues to grow each season with over 150 judges based around the United States.

Many studio owners feel judges lack knowledge outside of the technical styles of dance, for example Tap & Hip-Hop. We are here to change that! Thanks to our intensive pre-screening process, we test and challenge our judges to make sure they can give constructive critiques in all majority competitive styles. Well-rounded, versatile judges are key to a consistent, fair panel!
IDA JUDGES TRAINING!
We offer a professional online training course exclusive to IDA Judges! Our in-depth judge's training provides detailed information on how to prepare and what to expect on a judging event. We also discuss critiquing, scoring, range + a Q&A with the creator of IDA! Our judges will always be professional, experienced and prepped for all events!

NEW! - BACKGROUND CHECKS!
An important and necessary new feature we are implementing at IDA is background checks for all hired IDA Judges. As our dance industry continues to evolve, we feel that adding this additional layer of security to our contractors will protect the dancers, their families, and your business. Background checks will be supplied and covered by IDA and included in all IDA Memberships for the 2022 Season.
